In 1927, George Musebeck founded a shoe company with a singular purpose - to make the world's finest fitting shoes. Since then, the Foot-So-Port Shoe Corporation has continued to produce footwear unsurpassed in walking comfort by combining old-world quality craftsmanship with scientific anatomical principles.

At the forefront of the famous Musebeck tradition is the celebrated Suburban walking shoe. Each pair is painstakingly created one step at a time with meticulous attention to detail, like heavy-duty stitching for longer wear; sewn midsoles for added stability; removable cushioned Gemini inserts for orthotics; rounded heel wedge and an extended line of sizes and widths to ensure a correct fit for everyone.

These design and construction features enable the Suburban to more effectively equalize weight distribution; support the inside of the heel; control pronation and to keep the ankle joint in its proper vertical alignment-all to provide proper fitting shoes that offer unparalleled comfort and support. Designed on natural contoured lasts, the Suburban also features all-leather insoles, genuine Vibram® outsoles, cork filler for the insoles and welt ribs which are sewn, as well as cemented, to the insole.
